Access All Learners: Designing Inclusive Digital Learning

1st July 3pm BST - 10am Eastern

Join Tom McDowall as we explore how to design digital learning experiences that are accessible, inclusive, and aligned with WCAG 2.2 standards. But we won’t stop at compliance. True accessibility means designing for the full range of human diversity, abilities, contexts, and devices.

We’ll break down the key principles of WCAG 2.2, and show how they apply in real-world learning design, from colour contrast and keyboard navigation to inclusive language and flexible media formats.

What you'll walk away with:

  • A clear understanding of WCAG 2.2 principles and what they mean for digital learning

  • Practical guidance on building accessible content across tools and platforms

  • A broader perspective on inclusive design that goes beyond checklists

  •  A framework for conducting accessibility tests on your own content and platforms
