On January 7 at 3pm GMT, 10am EST join us for an exclusive FREE webinar "Designing Digital Coaches for the Flow of Work and Learning" with expert Chris King.
Whether you're in corporate L&D or higher education, you face the same issue: learners understand the content, but struggle to apply it. This session explores how a performance-first mindset and workflow learning tools can close that Transfer Gap. Using frameworks like the 5 Moments of Need, we’ll focus on what people actually need to do in real contexts—completing critical workflows, navigating complex assessments, or performing unfamiliar tasks.
You'll learn how to move beyond “more content” toward solutions that support real-time performance, map risks and workflows, and guide learners through complex cognitive tasks. We’ll also show how these methods strengthen problem-based learning, simulations, and verifiable competencies in an AI-driven world.
Session Outcomes:
Use a lightweight Rapid Workflow Analysis to map a workflow or a problem-based learning scenario and identify where performers are most likely to struggle.
Differentiate content from performance support, deciding when microlearning is enough and when an Electronic Performance Support System (EPSS) or digital scaffold is needed to guide complex tasks.
Generate practical ideas for in-the-flow supports (checklists, guides, embedded resources, AI-assisted helpers) that can live in a workflow tool, LMS, or simulation environment.
