I’m Adam Greaves, Social Learning Manager at UK Sports, where I’ve spent the last 16 years designing and delivering programs for the UK’s high-performance sporting community. Over the past few years, my focus has been on harnessing technology to create a blended learning experience, culminating in the launch of a digital learning platform that supports our community’s development.

The pandemic presented new challenges, but it also gave us the opportunity to embrace digital learning. We introduced webinars and, step by step, built out a formal digital learning system. The Professional Diploma in Digital Learning Design from the Digital Learning Institute provided me with essential tools and frameworks to navigate this shift and implement effective digital learning strategies.

The course helped my team and me confidently adopt best practices in digital learning, allowing us to develop innovative programs like our extended learning journey for PLx, our annual learning development conference. By applying what I learned, we’ve been able to enhance user engagement and create lasting value for our learners.
