Finding the Right Program

When researching her options, Ozlem was drawn to the Digital Learning Institute’s emphasis on applied learning. She wanted a course that would offer more than theory—something she could use in real time.

“I wanted hands-on, real-world application—not just theory. The project work gave me something concrete to showcase.”

Applying Knowledge in Real Time

The Diploma’s project-based approach helped Ozlem put her learning into action. With support and structure, she developed a full learning experience she could share with employers.

“Building the course project made everything feel real. That gave me the confidence to talk about my skills in interviews.”

A Turning Point

As the course progressed, Ozlem began applying what she was learning and felt increasingly confident discussing her instructional design capabilities with her managers. That confidence, and the tangible project she produced, helped her take the next step in her career.

“The project gave me something tangible to talk about. I felt much more confident speaking with my managers about what I could contribute.”

Shortly after completing the course, Ozlem began taking on more learning and development responsibilities—putting her new skills into practice.

Now working in digital learning, Ozlem continues to draw on what she learned.

“I’m actually using elements of my project in my job. It gave me clarity, a toolkit, and the momentum I needed.”
